NO. 88; ALASKA-ESKIMO MASK WOOD (ROUGH). Per Nadia M. Jackinsky-Horrell 4-29-2008, this mask should be stored with the Alutiiq/Sugpiaq (Pacific Yup'ik) collection. Stylistically mask is very similar to masks from the Prince William Sound area and the Kodiak archipelago. 11-18-2009 Sven Haakanson, Director of the Alutiiq Museum, examined this object and concurs with Jackinsky-Horrell's identification of this mask as Alutiiq/Sugpiaq type. May be from the Dall collection or William J. Fisher collections? 3 Mar 2026 1
